• THIS IS A CLASS! If you register you are REQUIRED to attend. There are drop dates associated with this class noted below. They CANNOT be changed.

• If you register for this class you are required to attend for the entire duration. AT THE VERY LEAST, you should expect to attend in person for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd - 5th. The ENTIRE weekend.

COURSE DATES:

• In Person Friday, November 8th from 4:00pm - 11:00pm in the Farmer School of Business.

• In Person Saturday, November 9th from 8:00am - 11:00pm in the Farmer School of Business.

• In Person Sunday, November 10th from 8:00am - 3:00pm in the Farmer School of Business.

DROP DATES (strictly enforced):

• Last day to drop without a grade, November 3rd.

• Last day to drop with a “W”, November 5th.

Things to consider:

• You will work at least 29 hours during the course of the weekend in person in the Farmer School of Business.

• You should NOT plan to attend any other events during the weekend.

• If you have a job - you should request off of work during the weekend. All of your time should be devoted to the class and your team.

• You will form your team on Friday night. You should not plan to work on a pre-formed team.

• You will pitch your startup business model on Sunday to a panel of judges. There is a cash prize for the top teams to win.

• You have to pay the FSB surcharge for this Entrepreneurship course. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please reach out to Meghan Smith (smith480@miamioh.edu).

• You will eat lots of food that will be provided.Yes, we will accommodate dietary restrictions.

• You will create new friendships and have incredibly memorable and meaningful learning experiences.

• You will come away with a significant experience to add to your resume and maybe even be the co-founder of a new startup.
